How it works

  1. You compose it

    Choose the gift, write the dedication, and decide how it travels. Pay once; nothing renews.

  2. It arrives sealed

    A card with your note and their code: in your inbox to pass on, or in theirs on the morning you pick.

  3. They break the seal

    One tap opens it on thedailycanon.org. They sign in, hold the seal, and Folio is theirs in the app.

Questions

What will I be emailed?

A receipt with the code, at the address you pay with. If you chose to pass the gift on yourself, a second email arrives beside it, made to be forwarded: no price, and nothing about the payment.

When does the year begin?

On the day they open it, not the day you buy it. A code bought in October for Christmas still gives them twelve full months.

Do they need an iPhone?

The app is on iPhone. They can open the gift from any browser, and read on their iPhone once it is on their account.

What if they already have Folio?

It still counts: a year gift adds twelve months of gifted Folio to their account, and a lifetime gift makes it permanent.

What if the email goes astray?

Your receipt carries the code, and your gift page can send the gift again, or to a different address.
