Each day, The Daily Canon presents one carefully chosen work of literature. Open the app, read today's selection, and explore at your own pace.

Can I turn off notifications?

Yes. Go to Settings > Notifications > The Daily Canon on your iPhone and toggle notifications off.

Can I browse past or future days?

Yes. Use the left and right arrows to navigate between days, or tap the date to open the calendar.

Is the app free?

Yes. The Daily Canon is completely free with no ads, no accounts, and no in-app purchases.
