A hundred and fifty-four sonnets, written across the 1590s, first printed in 1609 without Shakespeare's consent. Fourteen of the greatest: two from the procreation sequence, five from the fair youth arc, four on time and decay, and three from the dark lady poems where desire turns dark. One sonnet a day for two weeks. Each one is fourteen lines. None of them is simple.
