A traveller halts his sleigh to watch snow fill the woods on the darkest evening of the year, is nudged on by his puzzled horse, and remembers he has promises to keep and miles to go before he sleeps.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep, but I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep.
